Audrey Van Houten
Managing Consultant

Audrey Van Houten is the Managing Consultant and oversees the team of researchers, consultant and project teams. Formerly a Regional Marketing Director at the British Council, the United Kingdom’s international organisation for cultural relations and educational opportunities. A graduate of USA’s Cornell University as well as Australia’s Queensland University of Technology, Audrey has spent over 15 years in various management, operational and marketing roles in both adult and youth education. In her role at the British Council, she was overseeing the East Asia region, covering 11 countries — Singapore, Hong Kong, Vietnam, Thailand, Malaysia, Myanmar, Indonesia, South Korea, Japan, Taiwan and China. Her diverse exposure to cultural environments and diverse working structures; promoting equality, diversity and inclusion; and most of all making language education accessible to East Asia.


She believes that the work we do involves deep and long-term commitment to the people and places we work with. Being inclusive, is at the heart of everything we should do. Involving organizations, communities and thought leaders in conversations and employing the most advanced technological solutions from a multi disciplinary approach can result in better outcomes for organisations, people and planet.
